● Avoid using topical retinoids because these products can irritate the skin, and this irritation can lead to serious side effects such as skin peeling and redness.

Use a fragrance-free, nourishing, and protective moisturizer the day after your treatment.

● Wash the area with lukewarm water for the first 48 hours. On days two and three, it is safe to cleanse with a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser.
● Refrain from wearing makeup for at least 24 hours (the more days you can spend bare-faced, the better).
● Avoid sweat-inducing exercise, saunas, and direct sunlight for three days after microneedling.
● Avoid using exfoliating skin tools (for one week) or undergoing cosmetic treatments (for at least two weeks) during the healing process.
● Caffeine, alcohol, and processed foods dehydrate your skin and can slow down your body’s healing process. Limiting these elements in your daily routine will only further enhance and improve your final results.
